Yamaha Motor India has introduced the country’s first Hybrid scooter, the Fascino 125 Fi. Available in two variants, with drum and disc brakes, the drum brake variant is priced at ₹70,000, while the disc brake variant comes at ₹76,530 (ex-showroom).

The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid boasts an advanced look compared to its predecessor, featuring new vibrant colors. The scooter is equipped with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system, functioning like an electric motor. This system aids in achieving acceleration and prevents scooter imbalance during tandem riding or initial acceleration.
Technological Advancements
The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter incorporates hybrid technology and a refreshed engine. The engine generates a maximum power of 8.6 bhp and a peak torque of 10.3Nm. It also includes a silent starter, enabling the engine to start without any noise.

In the disc brake variant, Yamaha Connect X app integration via Bluetooth offers numerous features. LED headlights, DRL, LED taillights, digital instrument console, hybrid technology engine with power assist, and disc brakes are part of the scooter’s features. The scooter also comes with ride assist feature and an engine cut-off switch on the side stand.

The disc brake version of the Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid offers 8 color options, while the drum brake variant comes in 7 color options. In the Indian 125cc segment, the Yamaha Fascino 125 competes with Suzuki Access 125, TVS NTorq 125, and Honda Activa 125.
